Simmons will introduce legislation to bring stability and relief to property taxes, protecting families and seniors from being taxed out of their homes. Additionally, work with the residents of LD11 to understand how to make Trenton work for them.

Simmons is championing a Housing Affordability and Stability Bill of Rights, ensuring every resident, regardless of zip code, has access to safe, affordable housing and a standard of stabilized living.

From Asbury Park to Colts Neck, Simmons is committed to a district where no child is left behind, with access to quality educational materials, mental health resources, and real opportunities to succeed without the outdated culture of community shaming or exclusion.

Advocating for common-sense policies to make every community safe and welcoming, for every family. From complete streets to community policing.

Expanding job training, apprenticeships, and pathways to careers, building a local economy that works for everyone, from Unions to business owners.

No child, no senior, no family in our district should struggle to put food on the table — period.
